About us Péter Beliczay - Manager of the Tacktic Peter began his sailing career in his parents' boat in 1976. He has attended to the sport of racing since 1981, at the beginning in Cadet class, and later on in Pirate class. He also tested the Olympic classes, first of all in Finn dinghy, but he sailed in the Star class as well. In the meantime he spent a lot of time among the bigger yachts. Peter put himself to the test in several classes from J24 to the biggest race yachts of Lake Balaton. He has spent thirty years in sailing, when he started to become interested in RC model sailing. Seeing the status of the Hungarian model sailing, he's tending to give new "pep" to this sport. He will also be the main organizer of the 2009 Naviga WC and also the IOM Class establishing in Hungary. Attila Déry - Designer of the Tacktic In spite of his young age, Attila left more appreciable and efficient boat design over his head. One of his biggest successes is the boat, called "Samurai Jack", which finished twice on the winner's stand, on Europe's biggest round of the lake regatta "Blue Ribbon" in Hungary. He joined Russel Coutts in the RC44 project, developing the boat as well. He's also successfully developed a one-man boat, which has been built after Nándor Fa Vendée Globe participant's conceptions. "Tacktic" was his first excursion to the place of RC model sailing boats. Flaar Ltd. - the builder of the Tacktic "The Flaar Ltd." was founded in January 2007. The aim of the company is to design, develop and build high performance day-sailers and racing boats. In order to ensure the highest technological level, all boats are made of carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin.
